On the afternoon of December 22nd, Guangdong Zhongke Weijing and Songshan Lake Materials Laboratory (hereinafter referred to as the "Laboratory") officially signed a contract with Dongguan Lixun Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Lixun") to establish the "Communication Technology New Materials and Photon Advanced Manufacturing Joint Engineering Center" (hereinafter referred to as the "Engineering Center") in Songshan Lake, Dongguan. The Engineering Center aims to break through the bottleneck of materials and manufacturing that restricts the development of the communication field, promote the progress of communication technology application and advanced manufacturing technology innovation in photonics, and bridge the gap between basic manufacturing technology and industrial application.

At the meeting, Fu Chao, member of the laboratory industrialization committee, Xiong Tengfang, general manager of Luxshare Technology, and Yang Xiaojun, chairman of Zhongke Weijing, signed a joint center construction agreement; Chen Dongmin, Executive Deputy Director of the Laboratory, Zhao Wei, Industrialization Committee Member, Ding Yuanda, Deputy General Manager of Lixun Precision, and Yang Xiaojun, Chairman of Zhongke Weijing, jointly unveiled the plaque for the "Joint Engineering Center for Communication Technology New Materials and Photonics Advanced Manufacturing".
Standing Committee member Liu Wei witnessed the signing ceremony and pointed out that Luxshare's entry into Songshan Lake has a forward-looking vision. He encourages Luxshare to innovate cooperation models, collaborate with institutions and enterprises such as the Materials Laboratory, strengthen collaboration between industry, academia, research, application, and upstream and downstream resources, and play an increasingly important role in promoting technological progress and industrial upgrading in the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area.

Chen Dongmin, Executive Deputy Director of the Laboratory, stated that the establishment of the Joint Engineering Center is an attempt at strategic interaction and cooperation between renowned enterprises and research institutions. It is a strategic need to connect the communication technology new materials and photon advanced manufacturing industry chain, build a new industry university research integration ecosystem, and achieve leapfrog development through cooperation among the three parties. I believe that the construction of the Joint Engineering Center will not only promote the transformation and upgrading of relevant manufacturing industries in Dongguan, but also achieve mutual benefit and win-win cooperation among the three parties.
According to Xiong Tengfang, General Manager of Luxshare Technology, Luxshare hopes that the Engineering Center will focus on the rapid development of the communication industry, take actual market demand as the driving force, rely on the advantages of laboratory and Zhongke Micro Precision System Mechanism and scientific research capabilities, carry out joint research, break through a number of key interconnection technologies, optimize production processes and improve production efficiency, and better serve the global interconnection industry.

The signing of the joint construction agreement for the joint engineering center marks a new level of cooperation among the three parties. The three parties will rely on the engineering center to fully leverage their respective advantages, jointly conduct in-depth research on key technologies and process breakthroughs, accelerate the validation and assessment iteration of new materials and processes, and achieve win-win cooperation.
