From 2010 to 2015, a group of energetic young people gathered at the Center for Photonics Manufacturing Systems and Applications of the Xi'an Institute of Optics and Precision Mechanics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Their passion brought the first ultra - fast laser special machine out of the blueprint, and they calibrated it with countless trials to achieve precision.

In February 2015, when General Secretary Xi Jinping inspected the Xi'an Institute of Optics and Precision Mechanics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, he ran his fingers over the microstructures of aerospace core components processed by our ultrafast lasers and said, "Core technologies cannot be begged for; they must be developed through self-reliance." These words finally struck the morning bell of the times for those silent forces gathering momentum – it turned out that all the crawling deep underground were waiting for a resonant breakthrough.

 In March 2015, bearing in mind the teachings of General Secretary Xi and relying on the innovative concept of "tearing down walls and opening up the institute" advocated by the Xi'an Institute of Optics and Precision Mechanics, and driven by our aspiration for "extreme photonics manufacturing," we gained the confidence to venture into the unknown and established CAS Precision Microfabrication.

In 2016, we successfully entered the aerospace engine system and began undertaking the processing of critical aerospace components, grounding the aspiration of "extreme photonics manufacturing"; in 2017, we finalized the design of ultrafast laser manufacturing equipment, achieved small-batch and multi-type processing of key components in the aerospace field, and established the subsidiary CAS MicroStar.

In 2018, we took the lead in undertaking the National Key Research and Development Program for the first time, marking our technical backbone with the scale of national certification. In the following years, we established a series of ultra - fast laser manufacturing equipment systems, and founded Guangdong Zhongke Weijing, the German R & D Center, and Zhongke Juneng. Since 2021, we have had our own dream - building factory, and the high - ground of ultra - fast laser intelligent manufacturing has begun to show its potential.

From 2010 to 2025, Zhongke Weijing has made the leap from an industry pioneer to an industry leader.
